Even daily nation fails in it's report of the man. Marx never became a SONU leader, the position he achieved was ONUSS chairman. He was however very influential in SONU matters at his pomp. The year he was poised to be sec gen, one Kioko simply sent thugs to harrass ladies in Box chanting Karl Max name and he lost it!!!!

.....he was a very sharp mathematician!!!

.....Phombe didn't really take Marx down, he was arrested and kept away from Nairobi for some 5 days, when he got released he was never the same man, the dude he was arrested with is currently mad!!!!

The guy simply failed himself.
He took to binge drinking after missing out on getting a job, that the point he lost it completely...we may blame Orengo but the buck stops with the individual himself.
As an intelectual as he reffered himself,he should have realised that Orengo was letting him down or mis usinf him.
Sometimes it better to give up the fight and let it be,all battles must not be worn militarily.

I remember Awuor Ponge was wekwad tyre around 1994 for stealing in the halls. But he resurrected and was active in 1995. Miracles.

Jeez, in my days he was Muslim and did his campaign solo with some ugly sticking posters but still won.

He was Secretary for Accommodation, Health and Catering. He became like a DH prefect after being sworn in.

...and he is now doing PHD

... and a very nice man. we live in the same estate

Can u ask Ponge what happened after we lynched him, being your neighbour?Think

"He once forced VC Prof Francis Gichaga through a calculus session, explaining to him why the parallel degree programme would lower the standards of university education. Time has proven him right."

Interesting... smile
