Why would you cut spending on welfare and other social programs? These people will now have no means to feed, clothe & shelter themselves, what do you think their next alternative will be? Its not like there are jobs in the offing for them, the result will be an increase in violent crimes and robbery, total anarchy! The US created this beast, so its not as simple as just taking away the kool aid, the repercussions will be disastrous.

I wish you knew how happy I would be if those "entitlements" were gotten rid of. Talking about the welfare programs only, not social security and medicare. As for the repercussions, Africans, Asians, South Americans and others have managed to pull through, so whats so special with these gentile people? Let everyone have a level playing field.

2013 is a significant year esp for the global banking system. Will the US Fed Reserve charter be renewed after running its 100yr course? US fiscal cliff, eurozone debt bomb; the uncertainity, the volatility...

Obama Taps Hagel for Pentagon, Brennan for CIA - http://abcn.ws/VFSPeO

Quote:
In nominating Hagel, Obama signaled he is willing to take on a tough confirmation fight. Once Hagel emerged as Obama's likely nominee, GOP lawmakers began sharply questioning his commitment to Israel and his willingness to take a hard line with Iran over its disputed nuclear program.

Hagel, a 66-year-old moderate Nebraska Republican, has criticized discussion of a military strike by either the U.S. or Israel against Iran. He also irritated some Israel backers with his reference to the "Jewish lobby" in the United States. And he has backed efforts to bring Iran to the table for future peace talks in Afghanistan.

The military industrial complex field is also getting interesting in 2013...
