In these elections, there can only be 1 outcome. Either:
1. Raila wins. He becomes President. Him and his cronies steal from Kenyans.
or
2. Uhuru wins. He becomes President. Him and his cronies steal from Kenyans.
Logically, either winner is bad for Kenya.

The only way out of such is to have a China style Kind of election where a small group of straight thinking proffessionals come together to publicly vet and give us a suitable leader. This business of involving 'average voters' who have no idea of what's good for kenya is not working. These are the same people who cry 'naomba serikali' when things get thick.
Given this is a dream, iam glad the new constitution tries to address some of these issues.
China is a terrible country where one is measured by the speed with which they are able to keep the factory line moving or how fast they can stack export boxes on to ships. there is nothing admirable about the country.
I am actually ok with the average voter exercising their right to choose their leader because at the end of day, they choose from a pool of leaders that are knowledgeable and certainly not average.
Average voters ensured Obama won the US presidency, if it were a china style election, then i think they would have settled for Donald Rumsfeld or Dick Cheney.
