The fire spitting Unionist is the national voice for all COTU aligned workers regardless of party, tribe or creed.I wonder what wisdom informs him to openly campaign for CORD? Is he losing it with age?

Is CORD tribal? or is Atwoli expressing his feelings to which government the workers will benefit?

Its not Tribal.
Tribal is not the word to use here. I think Partisan would fit the bill. he has taken sides.
and i think its allowed. he can provide guidance and a stand. members can take their own stand which may be independent of the org" stand.

I think he has done well in terms of taking sides...he just states and with reasons. he was a great fan of Kibaki and he never hid it....he openly said so and gave reasons. even when suppoting CORDI, he gave reasons.

He supported Kibaki in 2002 and again in 2007 we had no problem with that since he was supporting one of our own...2013 he is rejecting Uhuru and we are shouting that he has no right to endorse or reject a candidate or a party...eeh jamani kabila yetu.

“You cannot claim to be a reformist when leaders surrounding you are opposed to reforms and you keep them in influential positions in Government. He should start by reforming his close allies for the country to take him seriously when he claims to be a reformist,” Atwoli on RAO just three months ago. So what has changed since then, he has every right to endorse whoever he wants but IMO i think huyu amelipwa.

@Nostoppingthis.....He's endorsement was on behalf of Luhya's and not COTU.

'Luhya unity' gathers moss only during election time. I wonder why. This time, even Cyrus has been making unnecessary sounds for Western unity. Kumbe the ultimate objective might have been to consolidate the voting pattern in favour of the son of the lake. Watu wa ingo fear experiments even with their own blood. Now i've deduced that son of the lake is more popular in the land of mulembe due to his politico pedigree.
Not to be ruled out:-Atwoli may juz pull a surprise one and take on Khalwale for Kakamega senate
