@danny6 - I encountered Schumpter while researching on innovation.Sad story but it happens to people like him.Innovate or die though in Kenya competition doesn't seem to yield to innovation just price slashing.
@hisah - Solar windows will change everything.The aim is to transfer energy generation and distribution to the hands of the people.Buildings and houses generate energy and any excess is transferred to the grid through wireless technologies.
@mukiri - mobile technology will be everywhere.Internet of things is the phrase.

-Cloud computing will destroy a good percentage of the jobs in networking.
-Data scientists will be the new analysts.Big data - Statistics,programming and a broad knowledge base to decipher meaning from large sets of data.
-Video calling will be common place.
-3D and Virtual reality will be the entertainment route
-Augmented reality and advertising will merge seamlessly.
-Processors will be extremely cheap,small and fast.
-AI and Machine Learning will be embraced more to assist decision making and other automations.
-API boom - APIs for everything and anything will be the order of the day.
So far key areas of note - Energy,Transportation,Communication,Alternative Resources,Health.
