Vote Uhuru and Ruto into State House....and ready your limbs to wear the shackles of consequences that will follow. There are many who don't understand the intricacies of having a president and vice president who have been indicted for grave crimes against humanity; who are either being tried at the Hague, or have defied it, and thus have warrants out for their arrests. Not gonna be pretty. However, some folks always prefer learning through experience if they are lucky to survive it. It seems many Kenyans, in a laughable but confounding manner, are willing to give these sick puppies the country' s highest seat of power; chancing a date with horrendous consequences. One thing is for sure : Uhuru & Ruto will probably be able to ride out Kenya's isolation at great expense to the common mwanainchi. It will be the longest 5 year term the mwanainchi ever voted for. The good part is that: the mwanainchi "voter" will emerge from the experience much wiser having experienced the baptism, and bearing scars that will be very difficult to ignore. We'll then see if they' ll re- elect fugitives

Hehehe........they will again, in 2017. The memory of a goldfish is well implanted on our people.

That is what will happen. we will elect them in 2013 and 2017/18 and remember they will have the powers to mutilate the constitution to suit their liking. we are in for trouble bros/sis. Remember after all MOI did, we still elected him in 1992 and 1997. worse than gold fish mind.

This is the campaign that is being preached by some activists and cordesians.
What makes you think they will refuse to attend the proceedings? They have pledged to faithfully attend and obey the court.

Not that I am a supporter of Uhuru, No, I am not. But I want fair play. don’t start preaching possibilities As proven facts.

And stop using fear and paranoia to support your fickle arguments.

@ ali, ma ngai ma, You have said it, they are possibilities,so, what's your solution?
Are you suggesting we bury our heads, wait for the possibilities to become REALITY, then WHAT?
Are you waiting for them to tell you they won't attend proceedings if they ever get elected?

Please stop me from using fear and paranoia, by answering my 3 questions.

@ Alma......If you can't respect other people's choices/views then please do all of us a favour and make a disappearing act from Wazua. Do you have to insult everyone who doesn't agree with you and why do you also keep repeating that "i'm a kikuyu"? If you don't support Uhuruto then good for but that does not give you the right to insult KENYANS who have decided to back the Jubilee alliance. You claim to be a supporter of PK but hardly talk about him, just taking cheap shots against Jubilee and its supporters. Where do you get off insinuating that Wazuans have been compromised, we don't have to agree on everything but we've learnt to tolerate each other's views.....there's really no need to insult anyone.

Applause

Enyewe, they are possibilities. but my beef is with politicians and their supporters who are using the ICC repercussions mantra to drive away UMK's support.
I suggest we do the following:
we tell UMK the truth, that with him on the ballot, things can only head south/down...as his opponents will use this as cannon fodder and beat him like a drum

The Issue s bothering many. UMK's support base was happy when Macharia joined UMK but with Macharia gone, many are in a fix.

Even if UMK is barred, and PK inherit UMK's vote, not all of it esp. RV and other regions.
Macharia has declared war on UMK and the way i see, he is only driving away UMK's voters from himself in the event UMK is not running.
So I am not sure I have answers to your questions, they are too hard. but they are very forthright and conscience pricking.
For in him (Jesus) we live and move and have our being-Acts 17:28

@ ali, True, they are hard questions. That's why i used the "TENDA WEMA WENDE ZAKO".

Let's look into the future and make a political decision that won't put our welfare and that of our loved ones in jeopardy.
I have nothing personal against UK or Ruto, but their presidency doesn't portent collective well for our country.
It's neither fear nor paranoia.
It is insulating our country from needless agony.

Its not everyday a car gets involved in an accident, that is not to say insurance is a waste.

Let's buy insurance for our country, whether the accident[economic woes] happens or not, that a totally different ball game.

I thought they are only suspects.. Innocent till proven guilty? Why all the fuss about their potential presidency! Who said they will not go to Hague?

Ati I hang myself? Why now? I thought we are having a debate here however unsettling it is to some great wazuans. If I hang myself before seing the next prezo of Kenya, I would have missed something major and my vote would go to waste.
Wisdom to detect when share prices hit rock bottom.
When interest on bonds keep going up, you know the bear run is on high street. When interest on bonds start leveling, the bear has met the bull and they have hit rock bottom. When the interest rates on bonds start coming down, the bull has overpowered the bear and you better be riding the bull.
