So, which is more important?
A person's presumed innocence until pronounced guilty or the highlighted lines below?
Quote:
73. (1) Authority assigned to a State officer—
(a) is a public trust to be exercised in a manner that—
.
.
(iii) brings honour to the nation and dignity to the office;

I am not seeing how being charged with crimes against humanity escapes dis-honoring the pres office, innocence or guilt not withstanding.

I would hate to be on the bench trying this case -
Consider another section that states
Quote:

143. (1) Criminal proceedings shall not be instituted or continued
in any court against the President or a person performing the functions
of that office, during their tenure of office.
.
If the duo tell ICC to shove it, they break International Law, and by extension break Kenyan Law cause we are signatories, you can expect some reaction from our International masters...if they attend proceedings, that creates an administrative logjam and violates that section of the constitution.

The courts should stop playing for time and resolve this thing very very quickly.

Article 143(1),reread it carefully.It may give some hope to the Ocampo 2.Again find the definition of state officers,the 2 become state officers upon assuming office not while contesting.It would be helpful if you posted here the constitutional qualifications for one to run as president.
