These big Gikuyu businessmen probably know something that they are not sharing with the rest of their community. Tabitha Karanja pia is in that bandwagon. They should preach it.

Its called strategy. You protect your weakest flanks. No matter how heated the campaigns get nothing will change about how they do business in Central Kenya. But they know that in CORD strongholds they need to be perceived as being friendly. I will not be surprised if James Mwangi of Equity also makes a public display of affection for CORD.

They used to joke ati you can save an almost dying ukuyo by dropping a fiftey cents coin, Siku hizi, hata sms tone ya mpesa...And a jamaa is back in action......very cheap...but......costly

Does an Mpesa sms have a distinctive tone that's different from the other sms's?

True, wanting to be a connected businessman is a motivator. I remember people like Kirubi in the Moi days(he contributed 10m for the 97 Kanu campaigns). But I was wondering, are they convinced Raila will run the economy well given that he is one of them(Spectre)?

Even Kibaki is was one of them (Deacons K Ltd and Farmer’s Choice)

Their senses are fine-tuned for money and wealth. And those inner skills applied to other areas can only mean success. When it starts to rain in town and u are scampering for a sheltered place, this guys run to river road and get u umbrellas to save your clothes from being drenched in the rain and your hair(for the ladies) from being damaged. In short, when u see nuisance in the rain another person sees opportunity and that's what make some people more different from others. They are tuned to the universe for wealth.
