Good news is always there to be shared.

I recommend Kijabe Hospital for anyone who is looking for the best maternity hospital in Kenya.

Why's that?

- In case you are on NHIF, you will pay ZERO (Whether it is a CS or Normal delivery). I am a living beneficiary of this.
- Their courtesy is extraordinary. From the watchman to the top surgeon; you will always be treated with respect. I heard from different ladies that even top hospitals have arrogant nurses.
- They are not after money, but they put your healthcare first.
- Once again, if you are on NHIF (and have paid till the current month) you pay ZERO for normal delivery or CS.
- The doctors work in teams, therefore they have very few cases of negligence.

Anyway, try it out and you'll see for yourself. You can find their contact details below:

Thanks Maka.

The only challenge is distance but the benefits far outweigh that.

very nice and affordable place, and the doctors are top notch.
unless in the cases of emergency, from nairobi the distance is not that big, you can do it safely in around one hour.

Um, 'bakery' - where buns are removed from the oven. It seems the dough is mixed in a different place though.

Yeah, good stuff. In fact, I know 3 couples who got kids there at the same time. All 3 are still singing praises of the place.

Yeah, it's not that big if you are using personal means. Either way, it is worth the travel.

I love the location...peaceful, green and quiet.

for me, kijabe hospital is the best hospital all round and its very pocket friendly plus the staff are very polite and accommodating,my experience with them is that i had a sick uncle whose ailment would cost us as a family 2.5m to treat in india, by some luck a friend suggested kijabe hospital as an alternative and to my surprise when we went there, there was an expatriate surgeon who could perform the required procedure and the total costs were sub 200k for the operation and the two and a half weeks he was there. from that day i became a kijabe hospital convert, the downside to this is that for a first timer the drive to the place can be a bit unsettling

From where I come from we call it Kijabi. A friend of mine Laughing out loudly was born there!

Over they years the AIC Kijabe has really tried to main the high standards despite the high numbers which have stretched the resources especially medical staff.

But I like their efficient management of out patients ... same old card method and first in first served Applause Applause

Currently they have a private wing but it doesn't cost an arm and a leg.
