Out of EPL running, out of Capital One Cup, bleak future in the UCL and facing Swansea away in the FA Cup. Luck is when Preparation meets Opportunity. ~ Lucius Annaeus Seneca

What was most shocking was not the result per se but the fact that rowan atkinson fielded his first eleven and lost to a mediocre team... With that humiliation, aseno very slim hope of a trophy this season have firmly evaporated into thin air.......in short another familiar trophyless season beckons invitingly for them.... This you can take to the nearest bank! IF YOU EXPECT ME TO POST ANYTHING POSITIVE ABOUT ASENO, YOU MAY AS WELL SIT ON A PIN

From Feb 2012 Ramsey has not started 24 games, Record 18W, 4D, 2L (Won 75%, lost 8%).
Arsenal has lost only 2 games when Ramsey has not started, 1 of those games he came on as an 8th minute sub for injured Mikel Arteta, against Wigan. Thats like he started.
Swansea City is effectively the only game Ramsey did not start that Arsenal has lost from Feb this year.
If the coach can't see the story there then something is seriously wrong.

I have never been a fan of the league cup but Tuesday's defeat against Bradford has to be the most embarrasing defeat ever as an Arsenal fan. I have always insisted that the squads we've had over the years could have won the league but Wenger has always been the biggest problem we have at club.....he's just to stubborn. I totally agree with Stewart Robson's comments on the manager. “He’s got a reputation for developing players. Maybe he did that six, seven years ago. He’s actually putting players backwards now. I’ve seen Gervinho play for the Ivory Coast before he came to Arsenal, he was a good player. I saw [Andrey] Arshavin play for Russia and Zenit St Petersburg, he was a good player. I've seen [Aaron] Ramsey play for the Welsh Under-21s, he's a good player. Arsene Wenger is not doing enough on the training field. He’s not coaching the players, they have got no game strategy and, because he won't let anyone else do it, Arsenal are going backwards and some of their players are going backwards. Sir Alex Ferguson is not a coach. He doesn’t know how to put on a session, so people tell me. But what he does know is about the game, and he realises that, to get the best out of his players, he has to get the best coaches. Arsene Wenger, because he has got a massive ego, because he's a dictator when it comes to Arsenal football club, he’s not allowing Steve Bould to do any work." Wenger needs to realize that he can't do everything on his own......transfers, players contracts, Coaching and team management. why does he always insist on playing like Barcelona, sometimes you need to have a more direct approach especially against small teams. He always wants to prove that he can win trophies the hard way.....finally he's admitted that he regrets losing akina Cesc, Nasri and RVP. At the moment i think there are so many managers who would do anything to manage Arsenal including Guardiola who has already indicated that the gunners would be his top choice in England but the Board won't sack Wenger because of what he has achieved off the pitch. http://www.goal.com/en-g...my-top-choice-in-england

C & P Wenger's skill in recent years has been narrowly averting disaster – failure to qualify for the Champions League – which in turn has put no pressure on the club to change anything radically. Every calamity, such as last year's frenzied summer window trading after the 8-2 defeat at Old Trafford, is patched up. In May, Arsenal finished third and it looked like a success compared to the situation nine months' previously. Even now Arsenal are only two points off fourth place, albeit 15 off the top. Every season something slips. Take this summer's signings. A tick for Santi Cazorla, but Olivier Giroud and Lukas Podolski have failed to make an impact. Podolski was looked at by most of the leading European clubs and subsequently passed over. As Arsenal have found in their failed attempts to sign the likes of David Silva and Juan Mata, if a richer and/or more successful club is interested, they lose out. Wenger will not be leaving soon and certainly not before the end of the 18 months on his contract. Kroenke and Gazidis have no appetite for the attrition and pain that would cause the club. There is nothing like the critical weight of supporter feeling to force him out, in fact they sang his name at Valley Parade. There is every chance Arsenal will beat Reading on Monday and limp on. They pull the occasional rabbit from the hat to divert the gaze from their increasing mediocrity. Defeat by Bradford was simply another marker in the road in the gradual falling of Arsenal's fortunes, not a pivotal moment from which change will spring. In fairness, a League Cup defeat should never decide a manager's future but this is a club that is very different. The more life becomes difficult for Arsenal, the closer they stick to their guns and for some that is a quality to be admired. Yet every bad day brings with it further examination of Arsenal's financial approach. There is no question they pride themselves on the fact that they will sail through Uefa's financial fair play regulations for the first monitoring period that ends in May. Their last accounts posted a £36.6m profit, but that was boosted by player sales. The football operation made a loss. The wages bill was £143m, £50m more than Spurs. Ticket prices, as every Arsenal fan knows, are the most expensive in the league. The tales of Arsenal's increasing parsimony are legendary. At one point, a visitor to the training ground who asked for a television screen to be switched on to a live match was told the club did not have the channel. The local provider had quoted Arsenal the higher rate paid by pubs and restaurants and the club refused to pay it.

Last year Sunderland celebrated at the final whistle on the last game day after realizing that United, with their one nil win,had not done enough to pip City to the trophy. Wayne Rooney said recently that the games he's awaiting this season are City, Liverpool and Sunderland, in no particular order. Even Fergie says he still remembers the smug smiles and chanting from the Sunderland fans...hii weekendi watu watapewa kichapo cha MBWA!
