Reminds me of a movie I watched as a kid.
There was this king of the ring in those bouts you fight to the death who took his boss's girl, and when the boss got wind of it, he wanted to kill the fighter with a bullet.
But the girl intervened and said, 'he is a fighter; one day he'll lose'.
So, even this Marquez is a loser.

A very sad day indeed. As a boxing and also a big pacman fan i never thought this day will come this soon. i think now mayweather camp(cowards) has boosted confidence to face the pacman in future. Politics is just things to keep the people divided and foolish and put your trust in men and none of them can do nothing for you...

Still much respect for pacman. I have become bored of waiting for Mayweather to come out of hiding and fight Pacquiao, always hiding behind contract negotiations. All those fighters Pacquiao has faced since the first time the prospective Mayweather-Pacquiao fight was proposed have more balls than Mayweather, cause even the greatest champions have to lose some of the time. Mayweather wants to go to the grave never having lost, which is not what sports is about.

Pacman is the one who is avoiding Mayweather. Even refused to agree on a drug test as part of the mayweather fight conditions...

Quote:Then in the dying moments of round six, the two men started exchanging furious punches near the ropes. Marquez feinted left and threw one of the most vicious short rights in recent boxing history, hitting Pacquiao flush in the face and sending him to the canvas, right in front of Mitt and Ann Romney’s ringside seats (“I couldn’t believe it, he went down right in front of me!” Ann said later.) It seemed oddly appropriate: Romney knows all about clear defeats emerging dramatically after close and tough battles. And Pacquiao is a politician–a congressman with presidential ambitions in his native Philippines. Read more: http://keepingscore.blog...pacquiao/#ixzz2Ea36ChR7

Another Pacman fan here......but i must say that was one mean punch i haven't seen in a while .......It's not even close to what he did to Hatton. Nothing great was ever achieved without enthusiasm.

Btw why exactly does Mayweather think Pacman is on Steroids? He knows Pacman will destroy his good record thats why he keeps coming up with excuses kila wakati. Last one was that he wanted to get 70% from the fight, he knows very well Manny won't fight him unless its 50:50. http://www.espn.co.uk/bo...sport/story/100115.html

Pacman kept moving to the left as they sized each other up...moving to the left only exposed him to the powerful right hand of Marquiez...remember at Round 3, he received one powerful right (that was the warning!)....at round 6, it was "FINISH HIM!!!" The site of Pacman lying, face doen, hands parallel to his body!!!

I have always supported Pacman, but watching the bout on Sunday, i guess his time is up. Let him retire with honour. The kajab was spot on, wah! Thieves

Boxing officials are very happy coz for once in a long time people are talking about boxing for the right reasons:a good old punch up. The fight may win in all categories 1) Fight of the year 2)Round of the year 3)punch of the year and 4)knockout of the year It is better to keep your mouth closed and let people think you are a fool than to open it and remove all doubt... -Mark Twain
