Torn between a Bimmer and a Merc.....??Both are robust and good rides but.......Bimmer has a weak front suspension system......just...

@Moran,

IAZ-FSE engine......???......That sounds like Brain box for Toyota Voxy/Noah Limo......Let Alfa confirm though,which would mean Voxy,Noah Limo,Premio D4 and Rav4 2.0 L engines share the same brainbox........interesting........Alfa...!!.........Sisi nangoja...!!

@Njung'e. I am an ardent reader of your posts...very insightful. sorry that i am congratulating you now just so that i can get a chance to politely bash you,hehe.

to say that rav4 and CRV are crap in my opinion is to be overly simplistic and possibly hysterical. my reasons? CRV was voted the best (efficiency and performance aggregate) in the UK,cant remember which year. A recent survey in the US put the Honda as a make at no. 2 after Subaru in reliability. ok,they used the Accord but that should indicate that the company can make good cars,right? just for context....toyota was no 3 and merc was no 4. i have driven both cars and i can say that they drive like your regular saloon (handling). pliz state your reasons!

NB: i drive a premio D4 for last one year despite all the populist bias against it....have had no problems so far.

@Kanda,

Thank God your bashing did not leave me with a blue eye.....Ungeniona..!!..

The surveys you quote were done by 'them' and i may not have a quarrel with that.Conditions here are totally different and the only way you can judge is by 'feeling'.In my view,if i was looking for a versatile,stable drive,2 litre engine non off-road car that does better than most mid-range off-roads(CRV,RAV4),the Noah/Voxxy limo takes........From experience and buddy....!!!,i ain't no auto tech anything!....Just my opinion.

i aint no expert myself....far from it. just a fan of cars....and objectivity.

thanks for sharing your experience with the Noah (had a ride once and it felt good) and the others....rest assured i will put that in my knowledge base from now on (coz i respect your word).

however,just coz those cars are better than Rav4 and CRV,it doenst necessarily follow that the latter is 'crap'. figure this: if there is a top 100 list and you are number 1 and i am number 3 on the list......eh....think about that!

@ Mlefu,
I drive a Rav 4,2.0l,2001 model. Saying that you cant take a corner doing 60 is a big misrepresentation of the truth. There are so many factors that come in place...The car is quite stable at Some corners and high speeds but of course,just like in any other car,its dependant on so many factors. . At the end of the day,any car performance depends on how you drive/maintain it. With time manufactured have made the engine and all over heavy components of 4X4's lower so they they centre of gravity on/of the vehicle is subsequently low.
