What do I want? I want my businesses to flourish and my will to be unhindered. Can PK help me get what I want? No. Not yet. Tuju? No. Not yet. Muhuruto? No. CORD? No.
So far, it seems like my vote is lying in waste.
But as the character in shamba la wanyama used to say, do I say, 'Nitajitahidi zaidi'.
Of course no one might have personal impact on your business, the question is who among these people is able to create an environment where your business can flourish.
Decide on whom to vote based on that.
How can I know that? By looking at track record?
The Chinese are not constructing roads for naught, and any 'development' has benefits to the initiators. So whoever wins will definitely 'benefit me' via trickle down.
If the winner makes things worse, I can still adapt. Mogadishu has also had businesses all this time. And losing and gaining are a part of life.
Maybe we should be asked to vote with our hearts, and the candidates should address matters of the heart instead of development track records.
