These batteries use same technology. Chloride Exide is an experienced Kenyan company, and they have 1year warranty. Buy Kenyan, and sustain jobs locally. NB: By the way, they really do a good job of buying old batteries to recycle lead, hence boost on environment.

Thanks Beware, some of the current Chlorides are recycled and will disappoint you - no wonder they ask you to deliver your old batteries at a fee so that they can recycle them. Go ONLY for the black MF from CE not the white CE with a red top - I had one white CE which failed after 8 months, I replaced with a black MF and it served me 2+ years. Both were sourced direct from CE offices. I then got Amaron (the green one) from the main supplier along Lunga Lunga Rd and it has served me for 3 years now - going to the forth one. They are quite good batteries.

Anyway @SonOfGod you requested for information, we give you, you decide. Oxide chloride do not manufacture maintenance free batteries. They use Atlas.

If you buy a new one now and drop it hard, it will die. So who knows what happened to yours over those 8 months!!! How can you turn an old battery, with worn out cells into brand new, blemishles? By magic and cells inside turn new and casing white as snow one? No Recycling means: - crush the old battery - cut it into pieces - throw the peices into a furnace - melt the damn thing - separate plastic from lead - use the plastc to make the black casings - use the lead to make new batteries

NB: Alot goes on at CE and I would not give them 100% benefit maybe 40% or below. http://www.complaintsboa...de-battery-c587315.html

MF is clearly labelled Atlass on top and CE on the side. My point is it is the same battery made in korea. The duke guy imports from the same company. Amaron is the green one from India.

Have been using Global MF since 2007 June and still serving me well. Advice is like snow. The softer it lands the harder is sticks.

Stay away from CE. Something ain't right with those batteries and the company itself.... I had a horrible experience with them for three batteries. Please stay away! I Think Therefore I Am

I will: I will settle for Mr green(amaron) or Mr blue(global) (which ever i find first). Thanks
In the same spirit of staying away: NEVER even think of leaving it after 5pm along taifa road(CBD) if you love your signals or side mirrors!

@addidaskawembe; please learn something about the chemistry of the lead-acid accumulator before your start criticising recycling. Truth is: a recycled battery actually out performs one made from freshly mined lead!
