Hi,im concerned with these cars advertised in the classified sections,are they genuine,or how can I verify their genuinity,I am seriously shopping for a car with a budget of 300k its a family car. and not into peugeots.

Just get the letter of offer,go to KRA and confirm if the details as given to you are the same as their records,then check with police if the car is listed as stollen or has been used to commit crime etc them make a decision to buy. THis will only reduce but not eliminate the chances of being conned.

Layman......... this letter of offer,is it a legal doc that would require a lawyer,or its based on me coming up with witnesses? and the seller drafts it saying I have expressed interest and therefore should be left to peruse its doc at KRA....[ upon payment of some fees?]

the little i know of them....

is that they do not vet...

unlike Standard....

but all the same....

scrutinize thoroughly before reaching to your pocket....
