Hi,Ive identified a second hand car,and gone the KRA checks process, mechanics process etc and convinced its clean and want to buy it,but the guy is paranoid with cheques and wants me to do EFT's or a bank transfer is there documentary evidence incase of a dispute in these mode of payments, ama is there a better way to go forward in this?

But whether you go EFT or Bank Transfer, there is a bank advice in either case which you can retain as evidence.

Remind your mechanic to reconfirm that the engine number matches with the log book. Won't want to tell you what happened to me sometime.

Life is too short.
