Very interesting. If they can make durable and reliable vehicles like the Toyota Stout/Hilux, and make them affordable to rural farmers through financing via produce supply chains (coffee, tea, dairy), they may breakthrough the market. I remember vividly carrying 25-30Kgs fresh coffee berries on my shoulders to the factory on a many rainy days....well, it wasn't interesting! What about the milk stories of Nyandarua....Farmers seriously need mobility, hoping the County Governments will work on the rural roads.

I found this very interesting too. I hope the govt gives them the required support...the car is better/faster than the nyayo car, maybe they just need to do some polishing on their design "There are only two emotions in the market, hope & fear. Very interesting. Tax breaks and subsidies would help a lot in their development and with that price the market is there. Birds of a feather flock together

@murchir, How did you learn about this vehicle as this is news to me ?Are there some on the roads?I have not seen any myself. Whare is their workshop/factory? Appears the vehicle is handmade so I wonder how they will keep up with the orders should it become popular...

This is great !
On the actual ground, the country is ready for take off but somehow our leadership or lack of it has a way of messing things up.
I hope the government will see this opportunity for what it is and continue to create the necessary environment for growth of this and other brilliant young entrepreneurs and companies. Otherwise the larger players such as Toyota, Nissan can easily give them a proper run for their money.
Are these manufactured in Kenya?

Quite impressive. In a place where thought is abandoned, freedom can become a curse.

Good one. But they should add some of those basic extras they are stripping it off, even if they will raise the price slightly to slightly above a million
