Quote:
According to Hornsby, the Kenyatta family was implicated in both poaching and ivory exports. Margaret was chairman of the United African Company, one of the 10 companies exporting ivory despite a ban that was in force.

At the time, a kg of ivory sold at $36 (Sh300), meaning one dead elephant was worth thousands of dollars. Zebra’s too were not spared as 5,000 were shot illegally within 320 miles of Nairobi in six months during 1975.

So apart from land they also managed to take away our wildlife too.

I don't get this story.
Mama Ngina was Jomo Kenyatta's wife in 1973 when she's alleged to have done all these things. How does the writer distinguish the deeds to be hers and not her husband who happened to be the most powerful man by far at that time?

BBI will solve it

Women from a certain part of the Nation are known to be powerful and always overwhelm their husband in matters such as this.

was thinking the same @ Maka...steal from @Richdad (assuming he is rich, definitely not to the size the Kenyatta's got), and tell the rest of wazuans to work hard!!!

These guys of Mr Freedom really shock me...some are "home owners" in the rift valley while the Prince owns a big chunk of central Kenya...

Some issues are not worth wasting time on like this one.

Always playing victim like silly idiots.

Mara ati we are poor because the white man colonised us and whipped our small dirty asses some 60 years ago.

Mara ati we are doing badly because of actions of our leaders 50 years ago while only may be 2 or 3 people in wazua can lay claim to that age.

There is nothing new in those stories. Our Mr Moi and his family perfected the art and did even worse.

Like someone said shut up!!!Go get your own guys to screw quietly and make your money instead of losing your sleep, mind and appetites and crying like small babies over the misdeeds of your leaders long before you were born!!! BBK!!!!
