Spanish police stage protest against austerity measures - www.channelnewsasia.com/...ess/view/1237895/1/.html

These are the same cops that have been rounding up protestors doing what they are now doing!? Who'll arrest the cops?

This is a serious curve ball scenario for the spanish leadership. Things can easily go volatile anytime. Watching this closely for it could snowball into Greece. A euroland spring is in the making...!

The EU has spent the entire Nov bickering about Hellena. The so called Nov 20th meet has come and gone with Greece getting no deal. Most boring entertainment ever by eurocrats. I want a refund for this bogus showdown...

With euroland in recession why would they want an expensive €? How will they boost exports with a strong €. Bizarro markets...

Moving to next smoky show, Gaza flares; oil feels cold & continues to slide instead of rallying hard. Still trying to decode this smoke screen for something is cooking...

Direct yuan accounts in KE - http://www.theeastafrica.../-/lxp265z/-/index.html

This is good news. Forex exchange loss is not amusing esp when one is forced to change from one ccy to another and another to get what you want. E.g. Converting yuans to USD then to KES with volatility & exchange commission.

Yuan diversification - www.presstv.ir/detail/20...t-to-overtake-us-dollar/

This year has seen very many nations get into yuan reserves by diversifying from USD & euros. In the next few years I expect this trend to gain strong momentum due to the dismal euroland returns as they finally clean out their debt wounds to initiate recovery much later in 2020s.

Hi all... i have always said the dollar as a store of value doesnt make sense ...i mean a currency whose economy is in dire debt , where the youth jobs are scarce , where the new regime is going to tax the rich and working class to cater for those who cannot or will not work . I dont understand why the world insists on hoarding away wealth in this currency.
The other thing frustrating me is the devaluation of the shilling , this is going to raise havoc on stock and im hoping the dollar doesnt infalte to the 90 mark coz that spells the whole inflation saga all over again.
The kenyan economy isnt exactly doing fantasically apart from safcom and banks , construction is already on a slow down , businesses are tightening their belts overdrafts are rising & garuanteed unemployment before elections rises.
All this will a rising dollar were screwed
