You should by now know that an MD at that time or this time has no say on the sale of a public (government) corporation. Th MD is an employee of the corporation and not an owner and may not even be consulted. When govt. decides to privatise the parastatals they want only parliament and judiciary can intercede.

So did he say register his protest at the planned sale? Did he resign as a result? The only thing that can make me give him a pass on this is if it turns out that he tipped off the three MPs who went to court over the matter. Or he was somehow working with them discreetly.

It is all too easy for people to blame Moi for the wrongs done during his time while clearly if Moi never had any enablers none of those wrongs would have been committed. In fact he would not have even held onto power in the first place. Time people were held personally accountable for their acts.

And why do you assume he's buying them? In my opinion the re-alignments and defections are cheap survival tactics because we always vote for an individuals party and right now TNA is looking like the most promising vehicle.

I have never seen a record of his reaction to the sale. But may be it's because it would have been irrelevant anyway. Most MD/CEOs have no say even in private sector.

BBI will solve it

In that case, the title of the thread is rather hopelessly farfetched. Everybody knows what went on during the great Moi error. Everything public was for sale by the govt to who was who then. PK was just the figurehead, an employee of a parastatal owned by the moi govt, who actually turned round the institution-I stand to be corrected. Look for another one friend.

How many former parastatal heads owns a fleet of chppers and fles n them daily?

Madam, i don't have anything against PK. I was just trying to understand 'our' presidential candidates. It just doesn't make sense how a 'Kijana wa Mtaa', former Goalkeeper of Re-Union F.C, with no godfathers can afford what he is displaying for the last 24 months or so.

Maybe am not well informed, how much does it cost to own a chopper, or, to hire a chopper for 24 months.

@Dunkang, i don't know him either, or how he got the wealth.. hence my saying, instead of speculating, bring facts on the table.
My prayer has been and remains that God would expose all these guys for us to be able to chose wisely! SO, bring facts, i can promise to be objective about it.

hmmmm....lets know our candidates. KNOW not MALIGN. I know him as a man with a midas touch. The dude is simply one shrewd entrepreneur. As far as I know, he knows a good deal when he sees one. That is even more marks for him. We need to tap this skill as a nation, fast.
