Age old culture. The maasai also practice it. Problem comes in when knowledge is not passed down. Knowledge on how to woo the girl, knowledge on how to avoid pregnancy, knowledge not to 'run around' coz of crazy diseases. Didn't the Kamba allow old men to sleep with young girls too? Aunties to 'teach' marrying men how to perform? Kikuyus, women could marry women?

The world we live in is dynamic. Change is constant. Old culture is being done away with, FGM et al. Even this one should be 'futiliwad mbali'
