Did a shabby time in the 21K after an unnecessarily cautious first 10K. I am going back to my known 42 next year.

My target for next year,to try a sub 2hrs. Did the 21km in 2hr 16 minutes.

Agreed that camera was very impressive… Which media house owns it?.
I was however fearful about the choppers that were hovering around before the race started – it would have been a disaster if one decided to come down like the Ugandan fighter helicopters!

Or the Saitoti one. After reading about the Saitoti copter enquiry, I would not get into a govt helicopter. I thought those guys were really brave
Lord, thank you!

"Did 21km in 1hr 56 minutes"

Well done. I was ahead of you by only five minutes.

Next year the full marathon.

For those planning a 21K repeat, there will be no half - according to somewhat reliable rumors.

I think the organizers are betting that most 21k runners will rather upgrade to 42K than downgrade to 10K.

Tutaona.

I don't think it was a local media house....I saw the mzungu guy load it onto his land rover...the camera looked like a personal one...
