Romney struck first blood...it looked like Obama was holding back - too diplomatic. When will Kenya ever get here?Pray

From the dnc speech i knew their strategy iko down.Thats not the way you talk to a general audience, quoting figures and statistics..then obamas wife blatantly lied in the pre-debate interview and biden blundered big time.Mitt crushed Barrack in that debate using kasins 2008 style.Romney was eloquent and confident while mblo was sometimes fumbling with words and couldnt keep eye contact when romney was talking.

the 47% remark will eventually sink romney obama is just waiting for the right time

"Many of Mr Obama's supporters are puzzled he chose not to bring up the 47% comments in the debate, although his campaign has used the remarks in a television advert"

It was unanimous - first round goes to Romney but I think by round 3 Romney will be battered and bruised

Obama was just there..

The debate topic was not his strongest point.. Economy..
Though i did see some flashes of brilliance His occasional big smile at Lehre the moderator was quite a winner.. some nice zingers on specifics, but sadly followed by an immediate withdrawal. Nodding at Romney as if he's getting some schooling.... at one point he gave this huge sigh (only for the keen eye..)

He just didnt want to be there! Its true, as the papers had reported.. he despises Romney.. I think he kinda sees him as "those rich snobs who are not smart upstairs at all who have it all on a silver platter.."

Final blow was When Romney quoted from the declaration of Independence as he stipulated the role of government...then looked straight in the Camera for his final word...

Obama was off his dias, walked across the stage, meeting Romney not half way, but on his side, looking for Mitchelle, crossed over again, walking behind the Romney's and disappeared hapo nyuma.. He just didnt give a damn about that debate..

I would call it saving the best for last. You don't spend all your ammo in the first round with two to go.
You unleash the fire power on the final round when your opponent has no response chance.

I agree, BO will strike when Romney has run out of ammo and impact is at max.

There's no way an incumbent prezzo will intentionally look bad in front of his electorate. What his press secretary said he wanted to achieve in that debate and what he did were 2 different things. He should appeal to these people in layman's terms and show that mitt can never understand what the middo crass is going through. We just agree they messed up and will aim to do better next time.

BO came with a knife to a gun fight. He was crushed in that first debate, if it was boxing match it would have probably been stopped in the second round.BO was rusty and he kept using old lines like exxon from 08 and he was shocked that Romney was talking to him like a child.it reminds of Bush senior's debate with clinton when Bush kept looking at his watch during the debate.BO wasnt feeling that debate at all but it was his loss.Hopefully he removes his gloves in the second one because it looks like Romney is planning to go all out.

I havent watched the debate but I can almost bet that this is Obama's tactic. Even in the 08 debates, McCain seemed to nail him at first, then we all know how that ended. So I think Obama's tactic is always to let the opponent shine at first, that way Obama is the underdog then he throws the final punches. Now im psyked to watch the next one.

"You mentioned the navy, for example, and that we have fewer ships than we did in 1916. Well, governor, we also have fewer horses and bayonets because the nature of our military’s changed,” he said to laughter from the audience.

“We have these things called aircraft carriers where planes land on them. We have these ships that go underwater, nuclear submarines.

“So the question is not a game of Battleship where we’re counting ships. It’s, what are our capabilities?”
