Having interrogated our upcoming presidential candidates we have come to the conclusion that non of them represents what Kenya needs. It is with this in Mind that a couple of nationalist are in the process of registering this party with the following Key agendas in Mind.

1.Comprehensive Land policy.

2.Quality free education.

3.Universal comprehensive Health care.

4.provision of Water and sanitation.

5.Strengthening of Institutions that check our democracy.

We believe that for a peaceful Kenya these five items hold the key.

Suggestions are welcomed...alliances with like minded parties will be considered after a proven track record.

Thank you all.

Since this party did not get a good response here, it's time we moved to the next step.

This party needs a compelling narrative.A simple story that will move Kenyans to our party.

A good story is simple and catchy,It is so simple parents would want to tell their kids...A good story has a good and memorable title, a likeable protagonist, a simple plot, antagonists and the moral of the story.

When we look at our competitors their stories make them worthy competitors and we will need alot of convincing to win.Lets look at the major three.

Raila

This guy has always relied on his reform credentials and his down to earth persona currently he is using the 2007 election to play the victim..so apart from the emotions majority of kenyans have of his loss he will try to capitalise on the tribe factor and the upcoming trials of some of the competitors.

Uhuru

This guy is a tricky one,its hard to know what he is playing at...will he run or will he support someone else. His strongest point is he has come out as a savior for his tribe...he has taken credit for helping members of his tribe who were under attack in the 2007 election.Being charged in Hague has endeared him more to his pple it will be hard to win electorate in his backyard without a good story to counter his.

kalonzo/Mudavadi

This two guys are compromise candidates for the incumbent, they look as possible successors which means they might use the credentials of the incumbent to win.

The other candidates i.e Martha Karua,Peter Kenneth and ole Kiapi...Lacks the muscles to win unless they join hands.

For our party to win then we need a candidate that resonate with the people a guy who will not only be charming, but also looks strong and indefatigable.

In this election the winner will be the one who will convince kenyans that they will make more money and essential commodities like Unga will be 50 bob and below.Thats the language the common kenyan will understand.

I think the worst mistake we can do is expect to field a presidential candidate alone.

The strategy to win this election is for the party to be owned by every kenyan in their specific counties.

This involves recruiting from the grassroots. Remember the story needs to be sold to the common man on the ground.

Every county has its own challenges, the campaign team shld be well versed with the dynamics of every county.

I would suggest that we concentrate on the gubernatorial and presidential seats. This means we have about 49 candidates to think of.for gubernatorial seats the campaign teams will concentrate their campaign in their counties in coordination with the presidential campaign team.In so doing the presidential candidate will be able to understand every county and speak their language.

IF we loose the presidential race...atleast we shld win several gubernatorial seats which we will use as a launch pad for our next election.

Our political landscape has been hijacked by media and pollsters narratives for far too long. The strength of political parties or Candidates have continuously been skewed in favor of candidates with deep pockets.

Its about time the master narrative of political candidates was shaped by the candidates or campaigns themselves.

I find it interesting that as we are currently speaking No party that took part in the 1997& 2002 elections will be fielding a competitive candidate. All the 'major' parties now are New...how is that.

For this trend to change we need parties that are owned by the Kenyans themselves.

Now,My belief is that for a party to flourish it needs muscle both in term of money and people to run the campaigns.

If you asked any party supporter what their parties stand for they will draw a blank. That's how our politics have been.

Now the purpose of this thread is to come up with a party that can win an election.I think NMG has an initiative for choosing a good leader dubbed Uongozibut for a revolutionary party we need to form this WIN party.
