Good Money. Eish. I'm not a risk taker very much, so I would insert that into good sacco, and buy slowly buy several pieces of land over a short period.

This will spread your Risk. For eample, in Three Months you have 150K * 3 = 450K , enough for a Plot. In one Year you have 4 or 5 Plots, all of these appreciating.

Why would you put all that money in a sacco if you're looking for 450k in 3 months which you'll already have? You forget that he'll pay with unnecessary 12% annual interest. Plus why put all your savings in one basket?

BBI will solve it

If you have a business, reinvest the money and expand the business. If in employment, think passive investments - real estate, shares, bonds, precious metals, art etc
Life is short. Live passionately.

The Next Year, you may decide to Buy More, then later, use the acquired Plots as Security to Get Loan for building some of them. You can start with the one in Most Urban Area.

I know nothing about Stocks, so won't mention it. Sorry.

Last advice, be sure to COMMIT (sacco etc) that money every time it lands on your hands, else, itapata shughuli za OVYO.

ALL THE BEST.

Thanks guys for all this helpful tips , though shed some more light :- Which areas would you recommend me to search and buy this plots ?

Wachira, as you go about thinking about what to do with your wealth, don't forget to take out some form of life and health insurance and also to write a Will.

As adviced above I would further advice that you seek to speak to Marty directly (if he can make some time for you). It will beneficial to you even if he will charge you.

You are a either very lucky or very organized, saving 150k pm is commendable. I struggle to save meager 30k per month, 15k pm in sacco, and 15k pm in simba savings. So far i have only managed to build a nest egg of Kshs. 550k, 150k in a SACCO & 400k in the savings account, most of which i intend to put in treasury bills, leaving a small emergency float. I intend to purchase a plot in cash around the rongai, kiserian area, then borrow using the sacco savings to add onto an expected gratuity (not an MP) to build two units on that plot, one for rent & another for living in.

While you are planning on what to do with this cash, open a CDS Account with the central bank and park your money in 91 & 182 day treasury bills, they are very safe & currently have yields of over 10%, let it roll over a couple of times till you have a nest egg of millions or have done adequate research on what you want to do. Real estate is a sure bet, particularly rental income that will give you a steady, consistent income stream long into the future, or speculating on land whose values always seem to be going up if you are patient and prudent enough to get land with clean titles.

Sacco's are for accumulating money and taking out loans for those of us with inadequate funds, you can already accumulate quite abit a month so with a little patience and good planning you may not need to borrow a single cent.
