Wazuans kindly i need your advise :- I own a piece of plot 46by74 in viable place in Machakos town, i think of having a borehole sunk in my plot to ensure sufficient water supply so as to make my rentals competitive than the rest and also attract good rent (based on factor that water is scarce in that area) 1bedrooms units range from 5K to 8K in that area.I need the plot to contain maximum number of units of 1bedrooms, how many do you think it can contain per floor? and what is your advise on the borehole idea ?

1 think 5 units per floor. You dont really want to do a borehole its quite expensive. A fully equiped borehole can take 2m or even more.

Why not chimba bore hole and be selling water, you pipe the water to the near by flats without water and install meters for the time being. As you plan on bulding the flats?? just an idea? you need to do like 100 installations to recoup your investement. Your will charge plot owners based on usage hence a monthly cash in flow to your pockets
