It is now apparent that CKRC did not inject any expertise into the drafts after all, what do we do next – suggestions please as we cannot afford to squander this last chance?

BAAK-this whole new katiba BS reminds me of when we were young mboys fooling chicken by drawing a line in the soil and making them think they'd be slaughtered. It worked everytime.

In this new katiba race, nobody (apart from the clergy) has ever stopped to think if ever need to spend almost Ksh20bn on a new katiba or we amend the one we have. After all,we've had the damn thing for 46 yrs and its not stopped us living. Au contraie, our politicians (and us voting for them) have impended our progress.

Maina,Spot on...

Comparing the current constitution with the draft being prepared by CKRC,we are definitely much better off the way we are—

why are we questioning the wisdom of our fore fathers?

Why divide the country into tribal cocoons when the greater east Africa is geared towards integration?

Why subject presidential candidates to rigorous procedure only to hand over power to the PM?

Ati the president won’t chair cabinet..so how does the buck get to stop with him?

Ati prime minister is elected by parliament – the same mps who don’t pay taxes, cant hand in fuel guzzlers

Ati the president shouldn’t even get intelligence briefings?

Come on,we can do with a little bit more creativity..
