A close relative wants to purchase a piece of land measuring 0.09ha,30metres away from the edge of the proposed 60 metre wide eastern bypass – Somewhere between Astrol and Marurui.

Now,there has been some roumers in the area that the eastern bypass may be diverted in this section to ‘bypass’ some homes belonging to ‘influential’ people. Do you think the she should go ahead and purchase the plot? She notes that it will be very prime once the by-pass is constructed due to proximity,but the flip side is that she may lose her hard earned cash if the bypass is diverted to pass through the plot.

Is it possible that the designs can be changed at this stage so that the eastern bypass is diverted to ‘bypass’ some big people in some sections?

Someone…Please assist she is in a real dilemma..this is a prime area and plots are scarce…She fears that someone may go ahead and buy the plot if she doesn’t.

if she goes to the ministry of roads,she can get a map of the bypass and any proposed changes to its route may be get something in writing then talks to her lawyers and takes the necessary decision on whether to buy or not to. How much is an acre going for?
