What I am most worried about as someone who was born and bred in Nairobi is will parties nominate the right kind of people to stand for governorship or will they nominate the same old politicians.

And afterwards, will the people in all the 8 constituencies vote for technocrats who can take Nairobi to the next level - the Kideros, Jimnahs,Kisia's etc etc or will the vote go to the these recycled goons? Middle class are the minority. It would be an indictment of our democratic maturity if we are to go this way n the new dispensations

I don't mean to be a prophet of doom but this ruffian is likely to be the first governor of Nairobi. That will be a sad day for Nairobians.

highly unlikely UK will not touch him now if he does the whole maa vote is gone its now head to head jimnah and kidero for nairobi governor infact waititu is suspecting jimnah for pushing the issue unless he finds another political party he is done

That guy should be answering mashtaka by leo jioni...pap!!! I'm really disappointed by that top cop standing right behind him... Why let a guy create commotion then spend government resources cleaning it up! These cops need to learn to take action as per the law and not wait for orders from above!!!

Huyu jamaa pia needs to cautioned, Waititu deserves to face the law for what he said but this is the kind of response that fueled the PEV......how is he any better from him! Btw Why has he singled out Kikuyus, kwani kayole iko central.

"Just imagine the Kikuyus living in Maralal, Narok, in Kajiado and all over the country, he’s endangering his own community… We don’t want an apology. We want the police to arrest him, take him to court and he should be jailed,” said Mr Nkaissery.
