He has done well in gatanga but national politics is different ball game. He is still young, I think he should go for muranga governership this time round and contest 2023

Sir/ madam, this nation almost collapsed in 2007/2008. We had a president who had attained 7% gdp growth but had mismanaged the political bit. Pk is good but needs to evolve on consensus building, dealing with seasoned Mafia cartels, etc. Sorry this is not his time yet. If he cannot read the signs, maybe that also tells us something

The presidency is about 2 horses not the PK's and the other fringe candidates.PK would be better off as a cabinet minister in red colours or else he will join the list of kina Nyachae come 2013.

Why is it different? Being young is a plus also in my opinion.

We the middle class are the problem in this country. We make most noise about governance and political leadership. When we are called upon to make choices we suddenly remember we come from a certain village and speak a certain language and vote where our tribe is voting. We then spend the next 5 years making noise about governance, Political leaders etc. If we keep voting tribe even when our tribesmen are highly likely to fumble through 5 years we only make life miserable for ourselves and our children. How also do we expect the rural folk or those economically challenged to make wise decisions when we who are blessed to have economic abilities would rather shirk the responsibility of making the wise choices and make tribaly informed ones?

National politics is a culmination of the politics of home, village, constituency etc. Charity begins at home. If you can't organize, lead, utilize resources well and inspire people at home and constituency levels odds are full house you will fail at the national level. We all know that. Look at Obama, he started in Chicago with the communities and within a short time it was obvious he had the right leadership qualities needed to the top. Lets look at UK, Tinga, Muda, Mulonzo & Karua etc Frankly speaking and if we look at our consciences, they have been dismal in management of resources at constituency level and in leadership as well. They beleive they can outsource that and focus on national politics.

A good president must have good resource management skills, Political management skills, vision and ability to inspire. I don't see any of qualities in the honorable gentlemen and woman. PK lacks in Political skills but has demonstrated resource management skills and inspirational leadership. The question is what does Kenya need for the next 5 years!
