It is true, Obi Mikel has never scored for chelsea in EPL.
However, its erroneous to state that he has NEVER scored for chelsea.

True, he has scored for Chelsea in the FA cup, still that's 2 goals in 244 games or so. Sad

I couldn't believe it when the commentator said that Obi Mikel has never scored for Chelsea, this must be a record!
Anyway Stoke deserved a point.

Obi Mikel is not a striker the last time I checked.
If he said the same about Andy Carrol then that would make a debate.

No he is not, but he is a midfielder and there is no other midfielder in the premier league with such a record. 164 games or so with not a single goal is quite unique considering he is a regular with few injuries dotting his career.

His main action is not to score but to make various assists and hold the ball.
They would have sacked him if scoring goals was one of his key deliverable.
To me he has done pretty well and thats why Chelsea would rather loan out Essien who has scored many goals and leave behind Obi to play ay home.

.....And finally today is the day when all soccer fans of goodwill should hope that aseno not only draws but actually beats Man City. For obvious reasons, an aseno win is preferable to a shitty one.

The only problem is that lately aseno have formed an unenviable habit of running out of steam in the second half. This was most noticeable in their matches against Soton and Montpellier.

And the reason they have lost 7 times has absolutely nothing to do with Mike Dean..... It has everything to do with the DrOG.
Habari ndio hiyo!

That statistic must be worrying for the Gunners. But any result other than a loss will be positive.
If you can beat them then dont give them 3 point.

When I was growing up, if it happened that the top two teams in our local league tied in points at the end of the season, each club would keep the trophy for six months....Thats how close we were to the title last season.

Mikel has scored for Chelsea 1 goal vs macclesfield town football club in F.A . Its only in Pl that he hasn't.

Liverpool vs Man Utd - Draw - at least I hope. The Kop will be looking for their first win in an emotional week so it'll be a very hard game. A 2nd loss at this stage of the season will be disastrous for Utd

I don't expect or hope for a draw! I only see a Man United win - and by a margin of at least two goals no less.

I know it has been an emotional week for Liverpool and the emotions at Anfield will be boiling over but we will be okay if we can keep 11 men on the field. The only thing I'm afraid of is a red card. Vidic holds the recent record having been red carded THRICE against Liverpool in the last four years!!! Hopefully Evra also keeps his head! Nani [under pressure] also worries me.

@smano - Today being a Sunday, I will give you a verse. Mathew 8:26.

Man City vs Arsenal - Slim City win. Etihad has been a fortress and City will want to respond after their midweek disappointment.

I hope not. Hopefully the donkey will trip the horse.
Never count on making a good sale. Have the purchase price be so attractive that even a mediocre sale gives good returns.

Their worst start in more than 100 years!!! And it is about to get worse. 2 points in five games.

I hate to say "I told you so!". Or do I?

Make that 1 win in 15 games.
But the ref had a very good game today though.
