she can't pass the integrity test in the new dispensation. And she was about to become ktb chairperson....She would have been copying tigers in the Himalaya and saying they exist in Kisumu.

We don't AND THUS THE 4 PAGE DISCUSSION!

Can tell me how Africa benefits from the current intellectual property regime?

perhaps one of the most profound arguments against the current regime is found in the wise words of Thomas Jefferson
Quote:
"If nature has made any one thing less susceptible than all others of exclusive property, it is the action of the thinking power called an idea, which an individual may exclusively possess as long as he keeps it to himself; but the moment it is divulged, it forces itself into the possession of every one, and the receiver cannot dispossess himself of it. Its peculiar character, too, is that no one possesses the less, because every other possesses the whole of it. He who receives an idea from me, receives instruction himself without lessening mine; as he who lights his taper at mine, receives light without darkening me."

And thus I ask - how does Mukoko's publishing part of the article of whomever it was that first wrote letters to themselves diminish THE ORIGINAL WORK?

Sincerely, how many expected CM to apologize? She clearly wont. So let her be. After all we now know the real Carol Mutoko.

This is how seriously plagiarism is taken by universities out there;

Students found to have committed major plagiarism or to have colluded or to have presented fabricated data in an assessment are liable to be severely penalised. They may be given a mark of zero for the assessment concerned or, in the most serious cases, may even be required to terminate their studies.

Do not defend the indefensible.

Exactky Kripp. In fact if a student got an idea for their assignment from a conversation with their roommate they are supposed to acknowledge it.
