With only 6 months to the elections many big names are rushing for NBI governor. As for senator I've only heard of one candidate - Hon,Bishop,Dr,Mheshimiwa Maggie.

The Senate is unnecessary. It's role will be just increasing the govt payroll without adding any value. It's role is smaller than that of the National Assembly.

Members of the national assembly will however be elected by a smaller constituency thus fewer costs for campaigning!

Could it be then that politicians are avoiding Senate positions because they will have no say over devolved funds?

>70% of Nbi population ni youth. Na Sonko commands a huge following among them. Like it or not, if they vote Sonko notwithstanding his theatrics would well easily be on his way to be the governor of the richest county in Kenya!d'oh!
