Relax @TAZ - or maybe not [for you]. Even if RvP sits out against Wigan, sisi iko gangari sector hiyo. Apparently the sub was precautionary but either way, we can survive two injured strikers - even though they are the best.

Wednesday night [Champions League against Galatasaray] might worry me a bit but we can survive that too without both Rooney and RvP. Not an ideal scenario but not a crisis either!

Putting up a strong face....eh. Kind of reminds me of Sepp Blatters no crisis in football.Liar Liar

@ Maichblack When Wilshere was substituted against New York Redbulls in Aug last year, we were told it was just 'precautionary'. Anyway i'm sure RVP will be back for the CL match, i don't expect a knock to the thigh to be serious. Btw Kagawa also picked up an injury, i think his is more of a concern than RVP's.

Somebody suggested that this thread should be renamed THE GREAT MAN U THREAD. I guess he was right-----what do you expect with reknowned aseno fans dragging in Man U's name at every opportunity.

Poor penalty by Chicharito.

Chances to start will be rare [especially for forwards] and Chicha should learn to utilize his when he gets them!

Against Arsenal its too early to talk. Anything can happen.

Evra in problems. Büttner is deputizing for him because he is out injured but the young lad has ideas of his own. The under study wants to graduate early! Now this is what you do when you get half a chance.

@TAZ - Now that's how NOT to be a one man team!

Good footballing Saturday.

Man United wins.

Man United keeps a clean sheet.

Two young Man United lads introduce themselves to the theatre of dreams in style.

Man City draws.

Chelsea draws.

Which other team was playing today by the way?

Next 2 fixtures for The Arsenal;
Man City - Away,
Chelsea - Home
That will tell us what Arsenal is made of this season.

@Maichblack...Hata hauna aibu, Arsenal have just thumped mtu 6-1 WITHOUT RVP. Same team frustrated Man Utd and Man City. Aren't you the same people who said we were a one man team last season,so who's our saviour now. Gibbs is turning out to be another star in the making.

@Edu.......Chelsea and City have just dropped points today so what are they made of? Those are two tough matches against two teams we defeated last season, anything can happen but i'm so impressed with our performance so far.
