Not really. You may not compare two different models of different age, because again the technologies are different. You see old is old, and newer is newer, it means advancement/improvement.
I think CR-V is in the league of Forester and RAV4.
Personally, I'm not fun of IO. It looks delicate. And I've seen people go from IO to RAV4. I can't explain why.
