Things just got rather interesting [albeit sad for some of us] - Fedex dumped at the quarters for the first time, just when I thought Rafa's absence meant a very good chance of yet another slam!

Is it finally Murray time? Or a rare winner from outside the top 3. Not dismissing Djokovic but his form this year has been inconsistent - interestingly I find similarities in his 2011-2012 form and that of F1's Vettel over the same period.

@Magigi...among my best moments is the look on his face every time he falls short of a grand slam title!...i am hoping Berdych takes care of him in the semis.

@Reggae
Scotland (Scottish Gaelic: Alba ([ˈalˠ̪apə] About this sound listen (help·info)) is a country that is part of the United Kingdom.[12][13][14] Occupying the northern third of the island of Great Britain, it shares a border with England to the south and is bounded by the North Sea to the east, the Atlantic Ocean to the north and west, and the North Channel and Irish Sea to the southwest. In addition to the mainland, Scotland constitutes over 790 islands[15] including the Northern Isles and the Hebrides

It's something like this:
England + Wales + Scotland = Britain
England + Wales + Scotland + Northern Ireland = The UK

Great Britain is a political term which describes the combination of England, Scotland, and Wales, the three nations which together include all the land on the island. Thus Great Britain is not a state, or a country or a nation.
It is an island - one of the two large islands which make up The British Isles along with over 1000 small offshore islands.

The United Kingdom is made up of:

England - The capital is London.
Scotland - The capital is Edinburgh .
Wales - The capital is Cardiff.
Northern Ireland - The capital is Belfast.

England, Scotland and Wales together form Great Britain.

Great Britain and Northern Ireland together form the "United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland" (UK)

What are people called in the UK? People in the UK are called British although they have different nationalities.

Its like if the EAC had the same flag and citizenship (aka GB). However my nationality would still remain Kenyan, the guy from Morogoro will still be a Tanzanian, etc, etc. Now if we go to the olympics as EAC and Kapsabet Express wins a gold medal we would of course expect the guy from Tororo to light fireworks and celebrate... but not as much as the Kapsabet folks whom we expect to slaughter a few bovines... are we together @jahman??

Now for your sake assume that Madagascar joins the EAC, now we become something like United Kingdom of EAC and the Malagasy (UK)... tuko sawa hapo yellow man????
