It will be all eyes on Scom tomorrow!

I have all eyes on banks & insurance!

Equity has lagged kcb for a while, I expect memba to rally to 28/- faster than kcb! CFC & Coop have lagged, they'll catch up soon. SCBK & NBK are the only ones that marked down their bonds to market. Big gains for them coming up. Britank has been consolidating for next move up - target 7.20. Insurance stocks will rally, not sure about CIC. Looking to see if 3.50/- is defended.

I thot that mpesa bank would be at this level around Jan 2013, but clearly I underestimated the calf growing fast!

NSE is still on course to test 4000 in 2012. But at this level a lot of counters have flipped 40% plus gains thus profit taking will slow things down. NSE is in overbought zone since late June and a correction is due. Rotation will thus favour stocks (with rosy future earnings) that lagged the index rally.

Not forgetting headlines such as best market performance in Africa - yes NSE has achieved this so far. Such bullish headlines are a signal to take profits or take a pause for the next discount entry. The opposite refers to a buy signal - doom & gloom headlines of a bear run.

Finally, let's not forget to be cautious about euroland. The spanners from there could wreck the party easily... Sept 12 German court ruling is critical.
And should it disappoint, global markets have a long way to fall.

Three reasons why the NSE boom is just getting started!!

I'm aware of the above, but praise headlines always signal profit taking around the corner. Check out the trend globally.
