Naikuni says KQ’s input onthe specifications of the project were ignored. “We have looked at the passenger forecast numbers used in the conceptual design and have come to the conclusion that the numbers are not correct. The conceptual design (X-shaped) is totally unacceptable to us as it doesn’t allow for future expansion.

Where was Naikuni at the initial stages until the tender was awarded. Did he see the X shaped design the other day ama why the change of heart?. His argument does not add up.

It does not matter where he was. And in any case, do not assume that he has not raised the issue before. What matters is that he has raised important issues before the project has started.

Thank you. Whether they go ahead or not with the contract. Atleast the issue has been raised and if any corrections need to be made, it's better now than later.
