Barca being taken to the cleaners. They are being torn to shreds. 2-0 down, could have been like 7-0.

what time is the game?

@caveman, The game is at 23:30.
@mcreggae, Barca has had a good run of 7 games at Berbabeu,it should do us some psychological good.
Having said that, i'm hoping the latest call from one Mourinho for his team to prove their "spirit" doesn't include playing dirty.

Am I right to say you 'conned' me? by 23:00, the match was over. I was lucky to scan through SS2HD at 10pm and found second half beginning.Or what was I watching?

@eduu, Barca's back line was missing two solid defenders thru' injury.
Both Real goals were blunders thanks to Pique and Mascherano.
With Barca down to 10 men, they pressed Real and at some points you would think it was Real who were a man down
Final score, 2;1.
That is not a bad game for Barca by any measure. They were unlucky, with Valdes giving Real a goal at Camp Nou, and the two defense blunders.

If the two teams go forward as they are, i see us pipping Real to trophy[la liga].

tik tak (takataka)..i am thinking laliga coaches have been spending sleepless night watching replays with Caveman. Real really performed, they have matured...i saw Ramos handed a yellow card and he didnt go ballistic..amazing.

Song IS good, hope he cements his place or he might join Fibre-glass on the Bench.

At this rate CR7 will be back in England soon, if he does return i think it will be to Man City because they are the only club who can afford him.......well Chelsea also can but they have Hazard, Mata, Marin and Oscar!

If Ronaldo leaves Real (which i highly doubt) he will either go to PSG or City and I don't think he would love to play in France.
If you have built castles in the air, your work need not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them.

This is what some blog thinks about the whole thing. For me it's a bit far fetched but what do I know?If someone had told me last season that RvP would join Man Utd I'd have LMAO'd....this is football.

But only 2 clubs can afford him in EPL. And Man Utd is not one of them....

Spoilt Brat;

The truth about Ronaldo

Never has such a short sentence caused so much commotion as Cristiano Ronaldo's "I'm sad". When the player told journalists of his sadness, he must have known his words would have a shattering effect on his club – Real Madrid – and the reverberations would spread across the planet. That's why he did it.

Few people knew that Ronaldo was in possession of a bombshell which was just waiting to be dropped. Even club president Florentino Pérez and his right-hand man José Ángel Sánchez were totally shocked on Saturday when the Portuguese asked to speak to them. His words were those of a man who has given his all in every minute he has played for the club, but who cannot hold back anymore.

Ronaldo's sadness can't be cured with money. Of course the Portuguese star feels disgruntled by the wage he is on – €10 million net per year, the same as Kaká – especially when compared to what other star players earn in the world of football.

But Ronaldo is more concerned about respect, affection and recognition as opposed to an improved contract. The player does not feel he has the backing of the club, his teammates or the fans. At least, not the way believes he deserves.

He is disappointed with Real Madrid because of its lack of support as a club in his quest for the UEFA Best Player in Europe Award and also because of other small details that other clubs do for their star players which he does not have. He also feels frustrated with Real's system of selecting a captain, which is based on the time the players spend at the club.

The saddened star is also worried that his teammates do not see him as a leader on the pitch and in the changing room. He thinks they do not appreciate the sacrifices he has made for the team.

In regard to the Santiago Bernabéu faithful, he still lays the blame on the fans for not unanimously defending him on the day he was booed and for not worshipping him every time he scores a goal.

@ Mc Reggae.....I don't think CR7 has any problems with money, he might be earning less in terms of salary but his income from endorsements make up for that in a huge way. Cummulatively Eto'o probably earns almost half of what CR7 gets.

FORBES 2012 - HIGHEST PAID ATHLETES

1. Floyd Mayweather - Total Earnings between June 2011 to June 2012: $85 million
2. Manny Pacquaio - : $62 million
3. Tiger Woods - $59.4 million
4. LeBron James - $53 million
5. Roger Federer - : $52.7 million
6. Kobe Bryant - : $52.3 million
7. Phil Mickelson - : $47.8 million
8. David Beckham - : $46 million
9. Cristiano Ronaldo - : $42.5 million
10 Peyton Manning - : $42.4 million
11. Lionel Messi - : $39 million

He's definitely got the money to match his skills on the pitch but maybe he feels the club/teammates don't really appreciate him that much.....Messi is worshiped in Spain and Barca regardless of how he performs. Anyway he shouldn't really compare himself with the Argentine because unlike him he's not a product of Real Madrid, just one expensive player that they are trying to get full value from.
