Never count on making a good sale. Have the purchase price be so attractive that even a mediocre sale gives good returns.

Well it appears Sahin will be heading to Anfield, Arsenal (Wenger) are not reasy to meet Real demands. He is a fantastic player and would have been a great addition to our midfield but we still need a defensive midfielder.....i hope Wenger will now sign M'Villa, he would be the perfect replacement for Song. http://www.dailymail.co....senal-drop-interest.html

Victor Moses off to Chelsea, does he really expect to get game time in a team with all that roaming talent? Even Sturridge will probably leave! Can't blame him though, Chelsea must definitely pay better than Wigan! BEER IS LIVING PROOF THAT GOD LOVES US AND WANTS US TO BE HAPPY!

Welcome to the bridge Moses, apparently selfish Sturridge will have to leave. This man is a real threat upfront. Nadondosha meli kubwa seuze ngalawa!

Man United is my team and I'll support whoever is playing for us, but if you ask me, I would have wanted a player or two added to the midfield. I have said that for as long as I can remember! ..I think it would have been better had Fergie said they don't have any more money to compete in the transfer market!! I honestly struggle to see how they will challenge the top honours with Giggs,Scholes,Carric injury prone-anderson V the already proven City Midfielders,Arsenal and of-course Chelsea but heck am no football manager what do i know..but come to think of it Fergie sold Pique coz he had Evans!! lol The greatest danger in times of turbulence is not the turbulence; it is to act with yesterday's logic.

I'm so disgusted by this manager, whatever his sense of what is best for the club. He is so resistant to change he can't smell the coffeee and see that times have changed. Looks like Wenger will sell some more: Walcott going??

Allegiance aside...unless SAF see's something we have not been seeing and from the signings Chelsea have made and the squad Mancity have...whatever he see's must really be compelling to make him believe we can capture top honors and at the same time compete in Europe... Last season he reckoned we are no far away from Barca...I see the way Barca play and I will rest it at that...hell we could not even compete with Atletico... Conclusion is either SAF has issues age catching up or as the Green & Gold guys really say United are broke... I believe this will be a defining season the coffee has been smelling...the signings made are not enough....

Wrong. Pique left in search of first team football. If you have built castles in the air, your work need not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them.

Roy Carrol, the most expensive English football player ever, off on loan to Westham. You should have seen the look on Pardew as he told reporters "I wish Andy all the best" The smug look on his face said it all. What a waste of money by Liverpool owners. Even if we sold Berba to Fulham for around 4M pounds after buying him for 30, at least he was with us for 4 years and gave us one very good year (19th title) and Fulham are paying his full 100k a week wage, hehe. And they didn't want to pay Moussa Dembele 45k a week???Well at least they got 15 big ones for him. Scott Sinclair off to City, I think he might get a number there, despite the full backs making runs upfront. For Swansea that's quite a loss but I think they'll survive. QPR have the highest activity this window and what surprise signings like Granero and Julio Cesar with the possibility of Carvalho joining them. If they gel fast they could establish a position in mid table. Arsenal targeting Essien? He'd bring the vacant steele left by Song and let's admit it, to contend in all competitions you need depth. Let's see what surprises will come on deadline day (remember Andy Carroll???Hehe) BEER IS LIVING PROOF THAT GOD LOVES US AND WANTS US TO BE HAPPY!

Hugo Lloris to Spurs would be a DEAL! Friedel can only stay at that level for so long... Unfortunately for them the deal appears to have collapsed yesterday after they failed to reach an agreement, its also being reported that the player is not keen on a move to Spurs. They might still sign him, anything can happen before midnight tonight. I've just seen reports linking Arsenal with a move for Essien. Last season we signed Arteta (without a medical) in the final minutes of the transfer window, i expect similar move from Wenger!

Essien off to Arsenal, though i think his hey days are over. May provide good cover for about 15 games. @TAZ, the signing was before and not without a medical; there are normally clauses in such contracts that the deal is subject to a player passing the medical. Thieves
