Muslims don't burn churches or hurl grenades/shoot at christian worshipers, muslims don't stop people in the streets and stab them, muslims don't hurl grenades at police. Muslims are my brothers and my sisters,my friends(literally)...my country men and women...my fellow human beings. We must differentiate between muslims and criminals, between Islam and terrorism.

What about terrorism in the name of Islam?

It's exactly that, terrorism in the name of islam.
Just the way we had terrorism in the name of christianity (remember the deadly crusades?)

The only deadly crusades i remember are those which bombs were planted/exploded as people were worshiping. Christians fight the devil, by rebuking him and fighting his temptations.

Then you need to dig deeper into that word crusade, you can start here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crusades

"An imam in the mosque shouted through the speaker 'blood for blood', and immediately youths started stoning cars," said witness Dennis Odhiambo, whose car was damaged and who was forced to flee into a police station for safety.

I really do not know why Muslims bristle when the word terrorism is mentioned yet they never condemn the acts of the radicals. Where are the so called moderate Muslims when hoodlums are burning churches in the name of their religion and throwing grenades at policemen out to keep peace? Al quaida would never have gotten the far it did were it not for the tacit support they receive from their so called moderates.

I still recall the images of some Muslims celebrating 9/11. Islam simply has to choose peace and act like it really wants it.

"Sheikh Mohammed Dor (nominated) said that it was shocking that almost a full day after the killing, which took place in broad daylight, no arrests had been made. He said that it was “unfortunate” that there were reports of the youth arrested as a result of the clashes, but none of those suspected to have sprayed bullets on Aboud Rogo's van had been apprehended."

...still no renouncing of attacks on the churches.

well statistics show a majority of terrorists are muslims, just same way Mawe FC is dominantly Luo and Mungiki is mostly Kikuyu so let's cut the crap here...most muslims are good people and islam as a faith is okay, however there is a small section like the MRC/Alshabaab that want to start a religious war in Mombasa & NEP. We must condemn them and refuse to take part in this. These are cowards and their power is coming to an end soon. We don't want to go Nigeria or Middle East route.

Totally agree; nothing further to add.

This the moment of truth to know who stands on whose side. Those for terrorists and whose for peace. Recall; you are either with us or with the enemy? By Bush?

Agreed. Does that make all muslims militant (read terrorists)?

No. But the perception here is influenced by the complacity of the rest of the Muslim fraternity in condemning the actions of the extremists. For instance, Michuki played a big role in clipping the wings of Mungiki. The muslim leaders are always on defence mode and view those who condemn as attacking the Islam faith...sasa we don't even know who is who..no wonder the blanket condemnation.
