On twitter and he is inciting the youths to take arms n kill non beilievers.

where is alma now? he of the "stupid" fame?

I don't see how that in any way counters Alma's position and validates yours whatever it was. If you can't understand what Alma was saying (that this is not about Muslims versus Christians) then I am beginning to believe that he was spot on with his 'stupid' comment.

It goes beyond idle youths. The kind of hatred and radicalization that the likes of Rogo held (there are many others not in the open) is so much that those opposed to the Anti Terror bill need to rethink it. We cannot babysit terror sympathizers and cry of intolerance later. The words and actions of the principals send mixed signals esp OAR in supporting calls against the Bill.

whoever is quoting that verse is being mischievous and misusing the Quran. One needs to understand the context of this verse before they use it verse 5 speak about the peace treaty between the Muslims and Muskhriks (polytheists)
of Makkah that was broken for these instruction to be issued by Allah. honestly i do not know where its applicable today.

just after verse 5 Surah Tawbah chapter 9 verse 6 says:
“If any amongst the enemies
ask thee for asylum, grant it to him so that
he may hear the word and then
escort him to where he can be secure ”. (Al Qur’an 9:6)

lets be very careful with our words and also stop believing everything we hear.

we were warned against this constitution. I heeded and voted NO.

It was made by activists for activists.

Now Kenya will live with this fact. The CJ is a former activists, the judges are slowly turning into activists in order not to be labelled pro state and anti reformer.

MRC court case was a clear demonstration that the judiciary does not mean well for this country. Either the judges are acting in fear to protect their jobs or the law is not very clear to them.

Whilst am not insinuating anything (though the daily nation alleges that Rogo was planning to bomb Nyali bridge, Catholic church and Likoni ferry and he was involved in Paradise bombing), Kenyans must ask where on earth is an alleged terrorist released on bail, not once, twice but on several occasions. If it was in US, all those people could be cooling their heels in Guatanamo bay prison, Uganda could have seen them in Luzira prison, Ethiopia could have incarcerated them in central prison but in Kenya, the courts gives you freedom with a meager bail of ksh 100,000 or so.

We must preach peace not by words but by deeds. We must report all those suspicious characters living amongst us.We must shame the judiciary in areas where they are failing, the same way we shame the legislature and Executive when they go overboard.

@Abdulrahman,could not find better words. Looking all over we see the hypocrisy of the spirit of the constitution. Kenya and the Coast + NEP is becoming the new frontier and heaven for terror operatives and sympathisers all courtesy of the activism of the courts + weak enforcement capacity and mandates.

All the rioting, looting, murder and destruction of property is symptomatic of deep rooted sympathy for terrorism in our midst. The tolerance of the preaching of some clerics makes you wonder why we must be so blind to see that we are digging our own graves and that of our nation.

The tone in all political leaders is condemnation of the murder of the cleric and I've not heard as much for the murder of the officer who was on duty to restore the peace. I have not heard anyone condemn the killings of two innocent people in Kingorani and Juakali/Makande. This is the moment to let politicians understand that this country is greater than their quest for power.
