I have been thinking the exact same thing. Miguna should be very afraid of those who stand to gain should anything happen to him. And where RAO is concerned some peeps can to any lengths.
Your hypothesis is lent credibility by the propaganda that ensued; "rao hired these people to do this" "luos did it for their supreme leader/god"
This plot might just develop a life of its own. It takes one zealot acting on his own.
