True. SIII is the thing. It has a superb performance.

However, all android phones will rarely run with the battery for more than 24 hours.

Usisahau functionality. . Depends on what you're using. . kama ni media playback huwezi expect it to last.

but 'normal' usage na kudeactivate/stop not needed applications and services will last the phone for a very long time

unless unacompare na nokia feature phones

For the record the Galaxy SII (S2) does NOT cost 60k. Please check your 'facts'

Galaxy S3 can be had for 55k-60k

An IDEOS on ICS the same an S2 - not sure that warrants a response

This smacks of trolling

I have been using the SII since July 2011. It is a fantastic phone and i still find it hard to let it go though i want to have a small "affair" with the SIII. First, the battery performance is excellent. If you want a proper review, check out GSM arena. There is a reason that phone has been high in the ratings for close to a year now!
The battery is 1650mAH. The longest my batter has lasted is 4.5 days with minimal browsing, calls, sms, some games and of course use of the camera. (I could post a screen pic of the hours spent on the battery). Constant use of GPS, hotspot function, bluetooth and/or games will suck up your batt juice in less than a day.
You can still buy a bigger battery (2250mAH) is you want to extend your batt life. However your phone will gain an extra 1mm in thickness. The SII is 8.5mm thick while SIII is 8.6mm.

I bought my SII in Eldoret phonexpress at 60K...now the SIII is about the same amount in all safcom shops. My opinion is, just buy the SIII. Fork out the 60K and enjoy the power of the "beast". Its got a quad core processor (1.4GHZ) and only phone that is in its league is the HTC one X. It looks fantastic in white and every time i look at it, i want to "stray" a bit. I want to have a small affair with it and still keep the SII. :)

One thing you have got to be really careful about. The SII does not have a flap over the micro USB port (Not like the Samsung wave). Therefore moisture and dust can get into the port and cause havoc. You will find the MTP and Car navigation functions going on while the phone is off and basically sucking the juice off the battery in less than half a day! In this case all you need is a tooth brush and some iso propyl alcohol to clean the port. The electronics contact cleaner can do too. (This is one thing i had to learn the hard way) I do not know if the SIII has a similar prob. I would expect an improvement though. By the way the batt on the SIII i a whopping 2100mAh. That is huge. But then again you have got a quad core processor...

I don't own either but from comparing the two on GSM Arena, I'd go for the LG purely on hardware though it has a slower processor at 800MHz compared to the Samsung's 832MHz. What it lacks in processing power, it makes up for in RAM.

HTC desire run on 1.0 ghz and galaxy s2 on 1.2 ghz
both smartphone.the reason i changed my phone to s2 was HTC had problem with voice transmission to other end and low phone storage but s2 is opposite.
ticks all the boxes for me.
