...is it true that the Nairobi edition is the most elaborate in the world? Certainly nothing near its size is available anywhere in Africa...how about worldwide? Over 10,000 spectators attend the Nairobi edition every year.

@ Mukiha

Thats very true, apparently in most of the other cities, participants target motor bikes, especially Las vegas, tokyo, and New york. Paris puts an emphasis on chariots (unconfirmed opinion) but she is not hosting this event this year..New york also cancelled at the last minute.
Nairobi has a variety of cars and bikes and PR on the same is a global affair. Picture this WELCOME TO AFRICA CONCOUR'S DE ELEGANCE,THE HOME OF 1926 FIAT,1951 ROLLS ROYCE,1967 ALFA ROMEO AND THE POWERFUL 1600cc HARLEY DAVIDSON GLAMOUR.....

Man that davidson machine is deadly,....

...Is Njung'e entering his Bijuti. I guess he disappeared to go and prepare for it and did not want to say it. Those of us who will attend should look out for any 1960s Bijuti... That obviously will be Njung'e...

...indeed; then we have the likes of Balala saying that we should have long school holidays during low tourist season and the Kenya Tourist Board [shouldn't that be KenyaN TourisM Board?] attending tourism exhibitions all over the world telling potential visitors to come and see lions in Kenya [on board uncomfortable matatuscalled tour vanson pot-holed roads.

Surely,if we have the largest and most elaborate concours in the world, running on the last Sunday of September every year since 1970 without a miss, should get us re-thinking our tourism marketing, shouldn't it?

'Surely,if we have the largest and most elaborate concours in the world'..........blah,blah,blah. Mr know-it-all,the pall bearer (in the State Funeral For Thieves,no doubt) has never heard of the Pebble Beach Concours.

I would rather be seen dead than anywhere near such a snobbish event. Mutura and tumbukiza washed down with a cold tusker than hob nobbling with smartass elite who think they are better than everyone else.
