I was thoroughly impressed by the Swans, but can't say I am surprised - Laudrup was the sort of player his team has become and one only needs to look at the work he did at Getafe last season (same team that beat Madrid on Sunday night).

Hazard impressed again (I don't know how many times we'll say that this season) and looks to have revived Torres.

It was only a matter of time before RvP scored for Utd and what a goal!I like the fact that Fergie does not condone poor performances which is what exactly Rooney and Nani produced at Goodison. Kagawa was man of the match for me and at least Cleverley was very involved in the game. But once again a game that seemed over at first half was left for a nervy finish and if it wasn't for De Gea another 2 points would have been dropped!

Gooners shooting blanks again with Cazorla the only bright spark, but there was a nice long range effort from Giroud. With Liverpool and City coming up, gooners better get their act together.

What a howler from Skrtel, gave shitty an undeserved draw. And what a free kick from Suarez! I hate the man but as a football he reigns supreme - I have never seen a player who nutmegs guys with such ease!!!

@ Smano, I'm not really worried about our strikers, from what i've seen so far its only a matter of time before they start scoring. The talking point of our team should be the defense, we've really improved especially Gibbs. Stoke are a very physical team and to come out with a clean sheet from the Britannia Stadium is quite impressive.....especially with our third choice keeper. It was also good to hear Wenger admit he's still in the market for a defensive midfielder.

Is Brendan Rodgers nuts???

£5m loan fee and £2.2m salary for Nuri Sahin??? Nuri Sahin will cost Liverfools £7.2m for one year!!! And they didn't even get a buy-out clause!! So at the end of the season it's bye bye Sahin and bye bye £7.2m!

Wenger buys three whole players for that much!!! No wonder he let Rodgers deep fry himself.
Never count on making a good sale. Have the purchase price be so attractive that even a mediocre sale gives good returns.

Mind you, wenger had offered £2m loan fee, pay only part of Sahin's wages and have a buy out clause and a deal was almost agreed on.

Why then more than double the loan fee, pick the whole wage bill and have no buy-out clause??? This to me is a very rookie mistake - kid in a candy store kind of mistake.

He could have got Lucas Bilgia on a permanent deal with the same amount!

Liverpool got a raw deal. Sahin was signed for £8M from Dortmund last season, Lpool foots more than half of that in the £5M loan fee.
They pay Madrid to train their (Madrid) player with no chance of signing him if he shines.

Why is it that Arsenal have to make news? United are totally harassed and beaten in their fast game by Everton, Liverpool are routed by West Brom, but the big headlines is "The Gunners fire blanks as they are held by Sunderland! Liverpool & City Draw but Arsenal are in crisis after the second draw!

I read somewhere that in the UK a negative story about Arsenal sells more, a positive story on Man Utd also has the same effect. The gunners are always said to be "in crisis" whenever we lose a match...when we draw the media always talk of how Arsenal "dropped points". Btw Tottenham have a single point in two matches.

This is so true, it is very rare to see any article in the media with positive news about Arsenal, if arsenal loose... they are in crisis if they draw...they are loosing points if they win...Lucky arsenal find the net past.....
Last season after cesc left they said that the best arsenal can achieve is 8th position... L

I cant wait for Podo, Girould and carzola to gel as last season the defense was a problem and after watching the first two games the defense looks to have improved...

Come on Gooners!!!

Moussa Dembele off to Spurs. Exactly the kind of player Man Utd needed (playing a deeper defensive role). Even Javier Martinex would have been perfect for Man Utd but the sort of money Bayern are willing to pay for him is obscene. 40M euros for a defensive midfielder cum central defender is way off.

Walcott's representatives want a wage of about £100k a week. That's just being greedy, i don't think for one moment he deserves that kind of pay. Gareth Bale who is one of the best players in the league recently signed a new contract with Spurs worth £70k a week, Arsenal are offering Walcott £75k a week na bado anaringa, SELL him to the highest bidder. If we accept his demands then next it will be Wilshere, AOC, TV5 and the rest. Anyway it's being reported that the player wants to stay and has instructed his team to continue negotiations so it will be interesting to see how this ends up before Friday.

I'm really starting to get concerned with what's happening at White Hart Lane, they've just signed Dembele and have also reached a deal with Lyon for their Keeper Hugo Lloris. Its also being reported that the are interested in signing Barca's Afellay on a season long loan with an option to make it permanent.
