[quote=madollar]now the coach claim they were cursed by kipchoge keino apparently he wagged a finger at them which is considered a taboo in kalenjin for refusing to train in bristol am not into this voodo stuff the only kale who won gold was kemboi and he is the only one who went to bristol!

Did Kipchoge Keino curse the athletics team after they shot down the pre-Olympics camp in Bristol?Head coach, Julius Kirwa, said Keino, an elder wagged his finger at them at the Kasarani camp following the uproar kicked up by the planned camp in Bristol

Hii ni ujinga gani? Ati Kenya performed poorly because Kipchoge wept and wagged his finger? And this statement coming from someone we entrusted the team to. This reason is actually worse than Twahir Muhiddin's defence that Kenya lost a game because the opponents' president was present and ''hawakutaka kumwaibisha rais wao''! Hahaa!

the reason the athlete did not perform well has nothing to do with 'management'. Rudisha was in the last group that went to UK, athletics unlike soccer has nothing to do with 'management' its the form of the athlete on the day - some were wasted by heats, some were injured, some were simply out done. let us give praise where praise belongs - the other countries are not sleeping or waiting to fight for bronze in all races that kenyans are in. Everyone wants Olympic glory except our runners. I f I am not wrong, the Ugandan runner was number 9 in world championships, prior to the Olympics - the best number is 3, not that UG 'Management' did a very good job that's why he beat us...he just wanted it more... and snookered akina Abel. Other countries do not prosper because we lapse, they prosper because they on the material day are much better than us.

now that the olympics are over jelimo and kiplagat win in the diamond league NKT!

Kenyans dominate the distances

Silas Kiplagat, the first Kenyan finisher at the Olympics in seventh place, restored some creditability to his nation's reputation when keeping his nerve in the final straight with six runners in contention to win the 1500m in 3:31.78.

I have been having some crazy thoughts about the 1,500 Meters Men race and I am not surprised by the results. I keep on wondering, now that our team members may have met the Algerian guy who trained in Kenya for the Olympics, could the Algerian have bought his Olympic title from the Kenyans especially considering the Kenyans had the best times before the Olympics?

I saw Jelimo/cherono run and win and felt like puking.
I didnt feel like celebrating at all because,

Saw Jelimo give away the Gold, and even the the last medal as she lazily walked towards the finish line. Think they had a big score /vendetta to settle with the officials some of whom occupied Olympic village denying the team doctor accommodation within!
