Not suprised.

Kenyan police must be the worst there ever was. Must they be directly by a minister to act? When will we get a police force that just does its job without waiting for a politician to tell them what to do?

The total Orma population in the country is about 60,000.The 52 individuals who were killed represent 0.08% of the total Orma population.
It's equivalent to eliminating 7974 Kikuyu in one night.
This hernious crime actually meets the genocide threshold.

Poverty is a curse Baks has 200 Recce officers guarding him,Kalonzo and OAR have 100 each, compare this to the entire police force in that volatile area...almost the same number...

Fresh violence in suspected revenge attacks.Police camp torched and more lives lost......Sasa haya mambo gani jameni???
At this rate,we'd rather postpone the coming erections before we kill each other to the last voter

Its time to send KDF if police officers cannot handle it. 2008 should have been a good lesson on when KDF checks in.

The police represent a symbol of order, armed or not a police officer should not be deliberately harmed or killed and if that happens lessons should be taught to all so that no one else should ever think of doing any harm to a police officer.
it's dis-heartening to see police officers being killed brazenly and in such a short period of time, first it was during some riots and now these...

"
Over 300 attackers armed with guns
are said to have raided the village and torched houses."
Normally it takes about 20 police officers to bring down one thug sasa 300 ndio wataweza, hii ni kazi ya KDF.

Honestly, I am now abit worried, the police authorities are not really keen to do their work. The coast PPO should be arrested and charged with negligence.
