This gives credence to what i was talking about... http://www.physioroom.co...ue/epl_injury_table.php
The average days missed for a Utd player injured was 45 days last season while for a City player injured was 24 days! ION, I didn't watch the opening match for Reading against Stoke but I doubt there'll be a repeat of the City Southampton match up at Stamford Bridge tonight. Win for Chelsea - taking them 6 points ahead of United BEER IS LIVING PROOF THAT GOD LOVES US AND WANTS US TO BE HAPPY!

youcan'tstopusnow wrote:Hehe. This man managed to score an offside goal Well it was an offside goal but every team gets their good or bad luck more than once in a season. Of course if it was Man Utd we'd never have heard the end of it but hio tumezoea. Chelsea started the game looking so menacing I thought they'd run away with it by half time but alas! And therein lies the beauty of the premier league. Spanish football is superior technically but you know it either Barca or Real winning the league and the El Classico probably decides the winner. With the EPL any game can go either way. Reading played well despite the Cech blunder that gifted them the second and they could have scored a third after Cahill equalized through a Fedrici howler but football is cruel. I watch Eden Hazard and just fell bad knowing he'd have signed for Man Utd if Chelsea hadn't won the CL.Oh well, you win some you lose some. That boy is going to win Chelsea some titles for sure. ION, Sturridge looks set to join Anfield for more playing time BEER IS LIVING PROOF THAT GOD LOVES US AND WANTS US TO BE HAPPY!

..No congratulations to Chelsea..signs we are now a team to reckon with!! teams from the championship will always have a point to prove esp playing with the big boys.Yes the Cech howler flattered their egos and am sure they thought they would win..well we saw the same thing with Southampton V City, teams have yet to gel completely esp trying to accomodate the new signings and once this is done well what more can i say. But you have to marvell at the intricate play Hazard - Mata had trying to feed Torres and yet we still yet to assimilate Oscar who will take Lampards role (he will have a periphery role coming in late in the game to shore up the midfield) and yet Marin is to come still..life at the bridge could not be greater!! The greatest danger in times of turbulence is not the turbulence; it is to act with yesterday's logic.

@Ric, I have a feeling Di Matteo would have wanted to remove Lampard but does not want to end up like AvB! In the 2nd half, I had a hard time spotting Lampard BEER IS LIVING PROOF THAT GOD LOVES US AND WANTS US TO BE HAPPY!

@smano .."Some people hog the ball for too long" these were words from Torres last season in an apparent reference to Lampard. You are right he struggled with the pace and the quick passing and slowly and slowly he will be relegated to the bench and have an inspirational/later game role where ball retention is key esp those SF away matches in the Champions league. However i don't rate Cahill at all- the media seems not to like Luiz but to me he is a far better defender than Cahill (ofcourse cahill is english) i blame him squareley for the first goal. Once we get Azi....... then maybe Ivanovic will come to CB and have always thought Luiz can play anchor midfield!! The greatest danger in times of turbulence is not the turbulence; it is to act with yesterday's logic.

The above editorial by goal.com has hit the nail squarely on the head!!! We have waited too long for Nani to be anywhere near what Cr7 was to us - it's time to cash in and get the steely midfielder I've always wanted to see since Roy Keane left and Fletcher almost made the position his. Carrick's creativity has waned since he signed for Utd and he'll never be a defensive midfielder.Fergie needs to smell the coffee - we're overweight up front! And Young blows hot and cold...mostly the latter BEER IS LIVING PROOF THAT GOD LOVES US AND WANTS US TO BE HAPPY!

Hazard, has been impressive so far...Just imagine what would have happened if Chelsea never won the CL...his destination would have been obvious. If he maintains a consistent form, then he can be devastating. That brings me to the question of Nani , I am just getting fed up with this guy by the minute...

I think he would have signed for Man City but they just couldn't agree on his wage demands. Hii mambo ya ati he signed for Chelsea because they won the CL ni kelele tu, it was always about the money.....i don't think SAF was also prepared to give £200,000 a week to a 21 year-old who had not played in the EPL before. Oscar is also a very good player, hope Chelsea play him more, i think he has more potential than Mata and Hazard.

I believe Hazard signed for Chelsea because they were able to meet the asking price for the agent's fees. Are you certain that Hazard is earning 200,000 a week at Chelsea? Do Lampard and Terry earn the same? I agree Oscar has a lot of potential just watching him play but Hazard is the real deal, no potential. He's explosive and is all over the field - with a good footballing mind. He knows when to pass unlike Sturridge who shoots on sight like a Kenyan cop!!! Anyway, I truly wish Hazard had joined Man Utd. His pairing with Kagawa would have been quite something to see. BEER IS LIVING PROOF THAT GOD LOVES US AND WANTS US TO BE HAPPY!

Well i'm not certain on that but the figure is definitely between 170K and 200K. Lampard earns just about the same figure (170K) while JT signed a 5 year contract in 2009 worth in the region of £150,000-a-week.....@Ric-dees can confirm if he signed an improved one afterwards.

Copy that...any how..let us hope we find some rhythm on how to best utilize Kagawa and RVP...simply because I do not see how Carrick + Nani can match their brains in play....

( I never thought I'd say relief and Evans in the same sentence). Man Utd is too front heavy, I was glad to hear Fiorentina are interested in Berba, the guy is too talented to rot on the bench BEER IS LIVING PROOF THAT GOD LOVES US AND WANTS US TO BE HAPPY!
