@ Nostoppingthis, Kuwa mpole! Just wanted to rub it in, Fellaini has turned out to be quite a problem for SAF whenever these two teams meet.

It's only Fergie who seems to believe MU did better than Everton.Forget the statistics.69:31 possession means nothing!!....hahaha!!
Nothing great was ever achieved without enthusiasm.

Has Fergie missed a trick?? Yesterday they were bullied all over the pitch and contrary to what he said in regards to the strike force - football has changed this is not 99 and the games are controlled and won from attacking midfielders with guile and speed and Kagawa fits into this mould perfectly, however 1 is not enough, scholes, cleverly, carrick are not it and this is where he is soley lacking.

Spain showed this with 5 midfielders and no recognised strikers, hence Chelsea signing Hazard,Marin and Oscar, Arsenal got Carzola (what a signing) and now they will get Sahin from Real Madrid (another potentially explosive player)and they still have rosizky, wiltshire. There no wingers now as we knew them wingers are now the full-backs hence the predicatable play of Young and Nani as opposed to Zabaleta and Clichy and this is now the new width. I fear for Vidic granted he has not played for a while i feel his best days are behind him (this is what injury does to you during old age - see michael owen)and i think it's the end for Ferdinand however we wait and see. Well Man U will bounce back but they need midfielders and defenders but watatoka wapi? They have lost a game on paper they had earmarked to win now it's early days but it has given a huge psychology boost to others read Arsenal, Chelsea, City, Newcastle, Tottenham and now unfortunately they will be playing catch-up no stories of Man U always starts slowly this season will be tough with 5-6 teams capable of winning it however as some-one said Game on!! First blood to City and Chelsea!

The greatest danger in times of turbulence is not the turbulence; it is to act with yesterday's logic.

Writing off Manchester United is a popular pastime amongst fans of the Premier League, and Monday night’s defeat to Everton provided the perfect opportunity for further pessimism.

There’s always something wrong with the Red Devils going into a new season, a flaw that will finally get the better of the canny Sir Alex Ferguson despite his side’s status as enduring title challengers. “This is finally the year!” the cynics cry, and yet the fall from grace never materialises. The red half of Manchester often smiles come May.

Man United's loss to Everton

I agree with a huge part of the article.

All in all, we lost a very painful 3 points yesterday. In the EPL, 3 points is a huge deal and in as much as we are not in the final weeks of the campaign, I felt the pain as acutely as usual!!!

We messed in one game and might be quite a number of games before we catch up with everyone else.
Never count on making a good sale. Have the purchase price be so attractive that even a mediocre sale gives good returns.
